It offers amazing views of both Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains from any seat. The month of September is sure to showcase mountain biking heading down the trails. This evening will be a great starting point of drinks and appetizers. Afterward, please feel free to follow up with a try at any of the world class restaurants nearby for a larger meal. For a list of restaurants, please visit the link to the CAPD/ACDP Whistler Microsite, located on the Destination Whistler page.

The President’s Dinner and Dance in the Audain Art Museum
This year we will be honouring Dr. Raymond Lee at the annual President’s Dinner on Saturday evening at the spectacular Audain Art Museum. Our group will have access to view the many historic and cultural treasures as well as take in the stunning architectural building prior to dinner. And after dinner we have Whistler’s favourite band “The Hairfarmers” for your entertainment.
Entertainment for the evening by Guitar Doug and Grateful Greg a.k.a “The Hairfarmers”
Voted “Whistler’s favorite band” every year since 2001, The Hairfarmers
have cultivated their West Coast “ski bum” musical style to include
everything from Johnny Cash to Jimi Hendrix and U2, Bob Dylan to Led
Zeppelin and Coldplay, Willie Nelson to the Grateful Dead. The Black Keys to Taylor Swift! Country, rock, blue grass, reggae, folk….you name it, they’ll play it…their song list is at around 2500 songs. So what’s a Hairfarmers show all about? That depends on everything from the weather, to the cycles of the moon. As they never plan anything prior to a performance, the band themselves would say something like “you have to feel the room and the people in it and choose the songs accordingly….it’s about finding the music that will take the audience and the band to that place where the FUN HAPPENS”….
